Hot Apple Pie, the internet radio program of the American Party of Florida, will celebrate its second birthday on Wednesday. Over the past couple of years, host Tom Macklin has featured a wide array of guests and used the program as a vehicle to build the party. We hope you will use the link on this page and take an opportunity to add your salutations to Wednesday evening's anniversary program. Tom will continue the salute to the Teaparty movement -- which parallels almost exactly the goals of the APF. "We invited coordinators from Lakeland, from Broward County and from Highlands County to talk about their efforts," said APF State Chairman Tom Macklin. "It's our salute to these folks who have come out so strongly for many of the same principals we hold dear." Macklin said the plan is to continue to invite other Teaparty coordinators over the next few weeks, leadin up to the celebration of Independence Day. "The Teaparty movement continues to grow, just like the American Party of Florida. We hope that sharing this program will help organizers and participants alike to share what they are doing and exchange ideas and suggestions as to how to build their events and organizations," Macklin said. The program airs Wednesday evenings on BlogTalk Radio. Those who want to listen may reach the program through the APF web site.
